Klasnic hoping for a chance

Ivan Klasnic is hoping his FA Cup winner against Fulham will help to earn him a Premier League start for Bolton in the coming weeks.

The former Nantes striker is yet to start a league game for Owen Coyle's troops this term, although he has featured regularly off the bench making 12 appearances.

He made it back-to-back FA Cup-winning goals on Sunday by netting in a 1-0 win at Craven Cottage, a result that now sees Bolton tackle Birmingham City in the quarter-finals.

Klasnic has hinted he has been frustrated kicking his heels on the sidelines as the likes of Johan Elmander and Kevin Davies get the bulk of the playing time, although he has no plans to seek showdown talks with Coyle.
